We’re running two very special photography classes in Albany on Saturday 17 November at the Vancouver Arts Centre. These hands-on workshops are aimed at Albany and Great Southern photographers who want to take their photography to the next stage, by learning to use their flash speedlight effectively, or shoot great portraits in natural light.
If you have already done a beginner’s DSLR workshop or have taught yourself the basics of DSLR photography, and are looking to take the next step in your photography, then these workshops will get you there!

In Understanding your Flash Speedlight, you will learn how to take control of your flash speedlight and use it to add impact and intensity to your photographs. Whether you like shooting portraits, happy snaps or weddings, you’ll learn how to master your flash and use it creatively and effectively!

Note: You will need your own DSLR, lenses and speedlight flash (external flash). We recommend that you use in-brand speedlights with your camera (ie. not third party or off-market brands) to ensure that your flash can communicate with your DSLR. Your speedlight needs to have a flash head that can tilt and rotate.
