I’m an accredited professional photographer, teacher, traveler and my aim with Venture Photography Workshops and Tours is to make you a better, stronger, more confident and more creative photographer.

More than ever before, photography allows us to record moments of our lived experiences, to express our visual creativity, to share the unique ways in which we see the world and to help us tell stories about our lives and experiences.

Great photography comes through the synergy of technical confidence in the tools of the trade (your camera, lenses and accessories), a solid understanding of light and how you can use it, and the ability to compose, frame and shoot that expresses a personal creative vision. My goal is  to develop your abilities across all these areas of photography and help you become the best photographer you can be.

I see the world through the lens when I shoot, but more than that, I’m creating something that I want to preserve and share: a story, an emotion, a mood, a feeling, an idea. And I want to show you how you can do this – whether you’re photographing your family, a street scene, a landscape, a close up… anything. So, come join me in this endless adventure of image taking and image making, and let me take your photography further than you ever expected!
