Bunbury Photo Walk 2014 Competition – Submission Form
WHAT IS IT?
This Photo Competition is open to all participants in the Bunbury Photo Walk on Monday 27th January, 2014. Simply submit your best photo from the photo walk and you’re in the running to win a terrific prize courtesy of Venture Photography Workshops (that us!), Collins Booksellers Bunbury and Bunbury Camera House! The competition closes on Sunday 9 February, 2014.
There are a number of prizes on offer, including:
- First prize: $100 voucher for a workshop at Venture Photography Workshops.
- Second prize: Light It, Shoot It, Retouch it by Scott Kelby — thanks to Collins Booksellers Bunbury
- Merit Award prize (3 prizes available): A nifty and useful table tripod thanks to Bunbury Camera House.
HOW TO ENTER
Use the web form below to submit your best photo taken at the Bunbury Photo Walk to the competition. There is only one entry per photographer, so choose you submission wisely. (If you happen to submit more than one photo, then only the first photo will be considered for the competition). Photos must be submitted by midnight Sunday 9 February, 2014.
A shortlist of submissions will then be displayed in an online gallery here on the Venture Photography Workshops website, so that you can see what others have submitted and share the gallery with your friends.
The winning entries will be judged on creativity, originality and visual appeal. Hint: Try and choose a photo that’s unique to you ie. a scene or subject that no one else photographed!
THE FINE PRINT
- This contest is open only to participants of the 27 January 2014 Bunbury Photo Walk
- You are only allowed one entry.
- The filename for your entry must be formatted as: surname_firstname.jpg – where “surname” and “firstname” are your surname and first name.
- The judges’ decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into once winners have been announced.
- Copyright and intellectual property of the photograph submitted belong to the photographer (ie. You). Venture Photography reserves the right to use the photograph in promoting this competition and its results across any media.
- The Venture Photography Workshops voucher can only be redeemed towards a half-day or full-day Venture Photography Workshop. The voucher prize cannot be exchanged for cash. The voucher prize cannot be transferred between persons.
- In submitting your entry, you confirm that you are the author of the works and that you have permission of any persons in the work to grant the usage rights required by Venture Photography as outlined in item #4 above. You will be responsible for any claim made by any third party and fully indemnify Venture Photography and its representatives in respect to all royalties, fees and any other monies owing to any person or entity by reason of Your breaching any of the foregoing.
- The competition organisers reserve the right to cancel this competition at any time before or after the photo walk if the total number of submissions is below twenty (20).
