Whether you’re looking to develop your understanding of landscape photography or would like to extend your approach to landscape photography in unique and different directions, this event is for you! Brian and Ty will be sharing their approach to landscape photography – both from land and from the air (aerial landscapes taken from a plane or with a drone).

You’ll be inspired by their tips and techniques in both image capture and post-processing, and discover how planning, dedication, research and pre-visualisation can become powerful tools in the creation of stunning landscapes.
Learn the tools of the trade as well as the essential skills that will make you a stronger, better landscape photographer.

For those new to landscapes, Brian will cover the fundamentals of landscape photography – lenses, equipment and approaches to composing and visualising landscapes. Ty will take your appreciation of landscape photography to a whole new level, where you’ll learn the ins and outs of creating fine art landscape images that sell!

Then, join Ty and Brian for a sunset shoot at one of Busselton’s most eye-catching and iconic landscape photography locations, where you’ll learn how to work with weather, nature and the environment in setting up and composing your landscape photographs.

ABOUT TY STEDMAN
Ty is a fine-art landscape photographer, based in Busselton, who specialises in fine art aerial landscapes and black and white landscapes. He is an experienced instructor and photography tour guide, and has won multiple awards in landscape photography in both Australia and the International arena, including Winner of the International Photography Awards (Professional Winter Sports), and the WA Professional Commercial Photographer of the Year 2018, For Ty, landscape photography is a great excuse to explore new horizons and escape the trap of modern life, whether through the elevation of a plane or the addition of time through a long exposure.

ABOUT BRIAN KINSON
Brian is a fine art photographer well-known for creating beautiful prints of the natural localities of the WA South West for homes and businesses. He is an enthusiastic outdoorsman, often seen chasing dramatic light during inclement weather on some of the epic settings that the South West has to offer. Brian has run photographic expeditions in the South West and his enthusiasm about landscape photography is most infectious! Brian has also travelled extensively in his search for perfect landscapes — he has photographed in Iceland, Italy, Scotland, New Zealand and Tasmania.
