The Maltese Falcon… The Blue Dahlia… The Big Sleep…
If you’ve ever dreamed about recreating the mystery, danger and romance of detective film noir movies, then join us for an unforgettable evening of shooting.
With our own Bogart and Bacall, we will be shooting amongst the historic sheds at Fremantle Harbour’s Victoria Quay, using both ambient light and, after the sun dips under the horizon, specially designed soft LED lights. Our aim is to create dramatic scenes from the film noir era that will have pride of place in your portfolio!
Places are limited to only 8 participants, so you’ll need to book quickly to avoid missing out!
What you’ll need:
- An interchangeable lens camera (DSLR or mirrorless).
- Lenses that cover focal length ranges of 35mm to 200mm. Prime lenses in the 85mm and 50mm range will also be suitable. Fast lenses are recommended, such as those that can open up to f/1.8 or f/2.8.
You don’t need to bring a tripod to this shoot.
