If you’re just starting out in wedding photography – whether you intend to pursue it professionally or just to photograph weddings for family and good friends – then let award-winning wedding photographer, Johannes Reinhart, show you how to get started in the biz and to work your camera as a wedding photographer!

What you will learn here will help you plan, prepare, organise, manage and shoot, and also give you skills and strategies to manage post-wedding workload, including an overview of the post-production workflow and the types of products you can offer your wedding couple. You’ll be shown the must-do’s and learn how to work with people at the wedding: from the bride and groom and bridal party to wedding guests and the wedding official (priest or celebrant).

This workshop comprises of two parts:

  1. An interactive seminar that focuses on the tips and tricks of the trade.
  2. Followed by hands-on shooting with our model bride and groom at some of Fremantle’s classic wedding photography locations so that you can get hands-on experience in using the techniques you’ll learn at this workshop.

Thank you Seng Mah (Venture Photography Workshops) and Johannes Reinhart for the “Totally Awesome Wedding Photography Workshop” today. It was totally awesome! I got some great photos on my Nikon D750 and my new lens, the 85mm 1.4D and learned a lot. Hopefully I will be posting some of the pics tomorrow when I get home after I’ve had a good look at them. (Joanne Norman)

I just completed the Totally Awesome Wedding Workshop with Seng and Johannes. The title is what it is, a totally awesome workshop. I would love to go to every wedding workshop that is hold by Seng and Johannes. It was so much fun and Seng and Johannes helped us with so many techniques, that now my photos from the day are awesome and I’m so proud of them. This is my third workshop and I’m doing more. Love Seng’s knowledge and commitment for us photographers to grow and achieve our dreams. Thank you. (Tracey Tassone)

Thanks again for an informative, easy to follow and well structured workshop. It was great to cover all aspects of shooting a wedding from start to finish including the preparation and planning, consultation, camera gear, contracts and post wedding digital workflow and much much more to mention here.

It was also great to learn and hear from the highly experienced and awarded Johannes Reinhart on his personal thoughts and process on wedding photography… This workshop has given me the information I needed to see where I needed to improve but it also gave me the confidence to take on and prepare for a wedding other than for close friends. (Azmi Johari)

Hi Seng, I would just like to say what a great day I had with you and Johannes. The information put forward was well structured, and any question ask was answered and explained well, I think all who attended came away with a better understanding and appreciation of what it takes become a wedding photographer. (Allan Ashcroft)

Thank you for all the information I got out of the workshop. It was a great day and really helpful!! (Jasmin Richardson)

After being asked to photograph a friends wedding panic set in, I set out to find a course to help and came across the wedding photography course held by Venture Photography. I was lucky enough to get a place and I am so pleased I did. The course provided a great outline from start to finish with regards to planning, photographing and wrapping up a wedding. I learnt about not only the business side of wedding photography but how to pose and get those “perfect” wedding shots! I walked away with the confidence that I can do this wedding. Thanks to both Johannes and Seng for such an awesome wedding photography course. I enjoyed the course so much that i signed up for another course with Venture photography the following weekend! (Nicole Mittan)
