Venture Photography Workshops give you the opportunity to develop your photography in a hands-on, supportive workshop environment, giving you the skills to do more with your camera and your creative eye!

We offer small group workshops and 1-on-1 workshops.

SMALL GROUP WORKSHOPS

Small group workshops are a great way to learn photography in a social and supportive setting. We limit our small group workshops to a maximum of 10 to 15 participants, to ensure you get enough time with your instructor and have plenty of opportunity to shoot! Small group workshops are conducted by Seng Mah and Greg Perry.

Getting Started in DSLR Photography

“Getting Started in DSLR Photography” will show you how to get off that “Auto” mode and start using your DSLR more creatively. It’s the perfect starting point if you’re brand new to DSLR photography!

Landmarks of the South West: Landscape Photography Weekend Workshop

For all you budding landscape photographers, this is a weekend workshop not to be missed! With the magnificent coastal vistas of the Western Australian South West for inspiration, we will be exploring the landscape with the view of developing your creative skills in photographing landscapes.

Better Travel Photography

Join us for an action-packed one-day photography workshop that will show you how to balance light and shadow to create evocative and dramatic images. Explore the interplay of light and shadow and unleash your dark side in “LightPlay: Chiaroscuro”. Participate in three themed photo shoots, each designed to show you how to use chiaroscuro for visual and emotive impact. You’ll learn how to creatively use natural light, studio strobes and speedlights to evoke mood and create drama.

We’ve now amped up our Flash Photography Fasttrack Workshop from a half-day to a full-day workshop. Come join us to learn the inner secrets of your flash speedlight and turn your fear of flash into a love of flash!

Flash Photography Fasttrack will demystify flash photography for you. In this one-day workshop, you’ll learn how to take control of your flash speedlight and use it to add impact and intensity to your photographs. Whether you like shooting portraits, weddings or want to get into creative off-camera flash (strobing), you’ll get a lot our of this workshop!

Bunbury DSLR Workshop: Getting Started in DSLR Photography

This is an ideal workshop for beginners to DSLR photography who would like to learn how to use it more effectively and creatively. This workshop will get you off “Auto mode” and shooting with great confidence and creativity. The workshop can be held at our Fremantle studio.

Kick Start Studio Photography is an exclusive 1-on-1 workshop aimed at giving you the skills and techniques to undertake studio photography – with an emphasis on studio portraiture.

This hands-on workshop is aimed at photographers who have invested in studio lighting, and who would like to learn the ins and outs of studio photography

Studio Fine Art Nude Photography

Cost: $550

Learn about studio photography in the context of lighting and photographing the nude human figure. By photographing a female or male model and being guided through the photography process, you will learn about approaches to fine art nude photograpy, working with models and techniques of lighting the nude human figure. Sony DSLR users will require a hotshoe adaptor.
