Photographer turns himself and family into bizarre woodland beings
Photographer Adam Brice, who lives and photographs in the south west of Western Australia has been pushing the boundaries of photography and imaging – and his latest works are bound to make viewers take a second and third look just to qualify that what they saw _was_ what they saw!
By combining strobe-lit portraits and photographs of natural objects (rocks, tree bark, spider webs and so on) using Photoshop, Adam has transformed himself and his family into strange, sometimes grotesque woodland creatures that seem to be part Ent (of Middle Earth for Lord of the Rings fans) and part shambling undead from The Walking Dead.
Have a look at some of Adam’s bizarre portraits below and make sure you check out his Flickr stream for more and head on over to Adam’s Google+ for a break down of how he achieves this amazing effect.
