Bunbury Photo Walk Competition

We’re really chuffed to be able to support the first Bunbury Photo Walk of 2013 with a competition!

The winner will win a voucher to attend either the “Getting Started in DSLR Photography” workshop on Saturday February 16 OR the “Natural Light, Natural Portraiture” workshop on Saturday February 23. Both workshops are held in Bunbury.

HOW TO ENTER

Use the web form below to submit your best photo taken at the Bunbury Photo Walk (January 27 2013) to the competition. There is only one entry per photographer, so choose you submission wisely. (If you happen to submit more than one photo, then only the first photo will be considered for the competition). Photos must be submitted by midnight Saturday 2 February (AWST).

Submissions will then be displayed in an online gallery here on the Venture Photography Workshops website, so that you can see what others have submitted and share the gallery with your friends.

The winning entry will be judged on creativity, originality and visual appeal.

THE FINE PRINT

1. This contest is open only to participants of the 27th January 2013 Bunbury Photo Walk. Participants will need to make their own way to the workshop in Bunbury (the prize does not include any travel or transport fares).
2. You are only allowed one entry.
3. The judges’ decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into once winners have been announced.
4. Copyright and intellectual property of the photograph submitted belong to the photographer (ie. You). Venture Photography reserves the right to use the photograph in promoting this competition and its results across any media.
5. The voucher can only be redeemed against the nominated workshop: “Getting Started in DSLR Photography” on February 16 or “Natural Light, Natural Portraiture” on February 23. The voucher prize cannot be exchanged for cash, nor can it be transferred to other workshops. In the event that the nominated workshop is postponed, the booking will be transferred to the new workshop date. If the workshop is cancelled, the voucher prize is rendered invalid. There is no refund available on a voucher won in this competition. The voucher prize cannot be transferred between persons.
6. In submitting your entry, you confirm that you are the author of the works and that you have permission of any persons in the work to grant the usage rights required by Venture Photography as outlined in item #4 above. You will be responsible for any claim made by any third party and fully indemnify Venture Photography and its representatives in respect to all royalties, fees and any other monies owing to any person or entity by reason of Your breaching any of the foregoing.
7. The competition organisers reserve the right to cancel this competition at any time before or after the photo walk if the total number of submissions is below eight (8).
