“The drama and setting at Paradise Harbour on the Antarctic Peninsular was spectacular. On New Year’s Day, 2011, we witnessed light snow and calm conditions, yet in the distance on mountain top fast moving clouds passed.
“The icebergs floating around the bay had a variety of hues, tones, colours, sizes and shapes, some carrying seals, penguins and birds. Whales bobbed about in the distance. Glaciers, ice fields and avalanche paths adorned the mountains. Our zodiac tours ventured close to all these.
“Most visitors had it as their prime objective to set foot on the most remote continent. Mission accomplished!”
Join us in our inaugural Masterclass Live session for an evening with photographer, David Sargeant, and his awe-inspiring photographs of the Antaractic.
David will share his insights and experiences in photographing Paradise Harbour on the Antarctic peninsula, the dramatic landscape of which is the subject of his FotoFreo exhibition and limited edition book.
