Tuscany Photography Workshop with Duccio Nacci (Oct 12-19, 2013)

If you’re traveling to Italy in October 2013, we’d like to introduce you to a luxury Tuscany photography workshop with renowned Italian photographer, Duccio Nacci. Organised by Celebration in Tuscany, this workshop includes meals and accommodation in the Villa di Corsano, a luxury villa located near Siena.

Workshop details

Join Duccio for six days of photographic discovery in the heart of Tuscany. Explore the region around San Gimignano, Val d’Orcia (the Orcia Valley) and Crete Senesi (south of Siena), with their famous medieval towns such as as Montalcino, Monticchiello and Pienza that make this landscape so unique.

Your workshop itinerary includes the Chianti region, with its marvellous woods, vineyards and olive groves, where the changing colours of autumn will dazzle your senses! You will also visit the Etruscan Maremma, with its antique towns of Sovana, Sorano and Pitigliano, Etruscan tombs and the “Vie Cave” (the famous Etruscan road cut into the volcanic rock of the region).

While exploring the beautiful Tuscan surrounds, you will learn new ways of looking at the world around you: everything from finding magical light and understanding composition, to mastering in-camera techniques and paying attention to the smallest detail. Duccio will show you how to photograph the unique landscapes of Tuscany with their soft golden hills, dusty roads, cypress groves, small country churches and medieval hamlet.

Accommodation and meals

You’ll be based in the luxurious Villa di Corsano, located near Siena and with easy access to some of Tuscany’s most scenic and cherished destinations. Your workshop fee includes residence in a private room for 7 nights at the Villa.

All meals are provided on workshop days. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be catered at the villa while you are there learning. When out and about in Siena or in Tuscany, meals will be at the finest Italian Osterias. This being Italy, wine is INCLUDED!
